Music is at the heart of the latest controversy surrounding the film “Joker.” In just one of the film’s pivotal scenes, Joaquin Phoenix, who plays the menacing most important character, radically dances his way down some concrete stairs. Some viewers are outraged since the track he dances to was manufactured by a convicted pedophile. The track is Gary Glitter’s 1972 strike “Rock and Roll (Element two).” Glitter is behind bars in Britain after being sentenced in 2015 to 16 yrs for sexually abusing a few underage girls.
