Aamir Liaquat responds to his presence at Sindh House

Regarding the backlash on social media, Amir Liaquat said that instead of spreading speculations and abusing him on social media, one must think about why he was present at the Sindh House. Will he stand with PM Imran Khan?

PTI leader Aamir Liaquat Hussain opens up about his presence at the Sindh House yesterday. A picture of Aamir Liaquat has been circulating on social media along with the members of the joint opposition making the social media users think he has joined the opposition camp.

Aamir Liaquat Hussain received flak on social media for deceiving PM Imran Khan and joining the opposition camp. He is being counted amongst the PTI dissidents who have announced to vote against PM Imran Khan in the no-confidence motion.

In his tweet on Wednesday, he had said that he is expected to meet PM Imran Khan on Thursday. The meeting, however, has been postponed. People are still unclear regarding his political inclination. While he was spotted at Sindh House, in the latest tweet he says he will work according to the policies of Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf.

On Thursday, Aamir Liaquat in his tweet informed that his meeting with Imran Khan has been delayed because of the premier’s busy schedule or that the premier is not interested in meeting him anymore. He defended himself saying that he belongs to Sindh and nobody can stop him from going to Sindh House.

Regarding the backlash on social media, he said that instead of spreading speculations and abusing me on social media, one must think about why he was present at the Sindh House. He claims that after his presence at the Sindh House, backdoor negotiations and communications started. Aamir Liaquat Hussain claims that whatever will happen will happen for the betterment of the country.

Last week, he along with his third wife had met PM Imran Khan at his office in Islamabad. Federal Ministers Asad Umar and Ali Zaidi were also present. He seemed happy and in a jovial mood following the meeting.

However, soon after that, he started complaining about PTI leadership on Twitter for not sharing with him details of the 27th rally in Islamabad.

In his previous tweet, he has predicted that a vote of no-confidence motion will be successful against PM Imran Khan and that Aleem Khan will be the new Chief Minister of Punjab.
