Twitter blasts Adnan Siddiqui for mocking speech disability of former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed in a TV program.
In Fahad Mustafa’s show Jeeto Pakistan, Adnan Siddiqui laughed at the stuttering of Sarfaraz Ahmed. In the PSL-inspired format of the game show, Siddiqui and Ahmed represented the teams Lahore and Quetta Knights respectively.

The two exchanged jibes that entertained the audience. However, Adnan Siddiqui crossed the line and mocked Sarfaraz Ahmed. While the studio audience laughed, the social media users berated Siddiqui for disrespecting the cricketer in the name of fun.

Twitter users expressed disappointment over Adnan Siddiqui’s reckless banter. They said his attitude was disrespectful towards Sarfaraz Ahmed. But also it ridiculed other people who suffer from speaking disability.
Twitter users recalled that Adnan Siddiqui called out anchorperson Aamir Liaquat Hussain on the deaths of Bollywood actors. But he overstepped decency in a live TV show.

Adnan Siddiqui has not responded to the controversy yet. But he was quick to tender an apology to the public on Aamir Liaquat’s insensitive remarks about Bollywood actors. Social media users noted that Adnan Siddiqui was quick to apologize to people even when he was not the offender.

Pakistani celebrity Adnan Siddiqui had criticized Aamir Liaquat Hussain for mocking the demise of Bollywood actors. The actor appeared on MNA Amir Liaquat Hussain’s Ramzan show Jeevay Pakistan on Friday. During a conversation, Aamir Liaquat said that late Bollywood actors Sri Devi and Irrfan Khan had one thing in common-they both had worked with Adnan Siddiqui.

He went on to add that the reason Rani Mukherjee and Bipasha Basu are alive because Adnan Siddiqui had rejected movies opposite these actors. Aamir Liaquat Hussain added that Adnan Siddiqui turned down the movie with Rani Mukherjee-Mardaani 2. But the actor has worked with Sri Devi in the movie Mom and with Irrfan Khan in A Mighty Heart.
A video circulating on social media showed Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s callous remarks had upset Adnan Siddiqui. Later, the actor expressed his regret on Hussain’s thoughtless remarks in a social media post.

Adnan Siddiqui posted an apologetic note on his Twitter account. The note condemned the unpleasant remarks by a serving MNA. According to Siddiqui, Aamir Liaquat joked about an extremely sensitive matter. “Not only were they both close to me but also as a human it was wrong on so many levels. I cannot even call it ‘hitting below the belt’,” he wrote.
“It was an extremely callous act to joke about the deceased. This is in very bad taste, not only does it show him and me but also the entire country in a bad light,” he added. Adnan Siddiqui apologized to the families of deceased actors.

Now, social media wonder the silence of Adnan Siddiqui on the controversy. They want him to apologize to Sarfaraz Ahmed when he is the prime guilty of the controversy. They questioned if Adnan Siddiqui is sensitive towards Bollywood celebrities only.
