An Afghan refugee complains of lack of facility and poor quality of food provided to them by the authorities by the US purportedly at a military facility in Texas.
An Afghan refugee, who has reached the USA during the evacuation process following the takeover of Kabul by Taliban forces, has shared the picture of the meal given to them. The picture shows the refugees are given insufficient portions of meals- few fruits and a piece of chicken. Afghan refugee named, Hamed Ahmadi, said that the meals are given after a long duration of 12 hours. He said that there are long intervals between meals and the portion of foods is insufficient.
“Not complaining but this is what I got last night for dinner and the next meal is 12 hours later. Refugee life might be safe but never easy & favorable. Fort Bliss El Paso Texas. #AfghanRefugees #afghanistan,” said Ahmadi in a tweet.
I'd be happy to pay for your ticket to go back… since it's so rough here that you have to take your sandwich apart and put the bread out of the shot.

He added that Afghan refugees are living in harsh and severe conditions following their evacuation from Afghanistan. Thousands of Afghans have fled Afghanistan following the downfall of the Ashraf Ghani government, to save their lives.
These include translators and people who offered their services to the US forces and other foreign troops.
Netizens react to the refugees’ plight
His post garnered mixed reactions from the netizens. Several Pakistani social media users said that Afghan refugees in Pakistan have more liberty and they should be thankful to Pakistan for their humanitarian assistance for over two decades. Meanwhile, another group said that they should not complain rather express gratitude and be thankful to the US authorities for providing them with free meals.
Americans commenting on the post said that perhaps they should return if they are not satisfied here.
