Amanullah was a “Mirasi” & Cannot Be Allowed to be Buried in Normal Graveyard

A video that emerged on social media showed Fayyaz ul Hassan admonishing the members of the authorities of the graveyard for not allowing to bury the body of comedian Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan.

Provincial PTI MPA, Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan intervened to bury the deceased comedian Amanullah after authorities of a private housing society refused to bury him at the graveyard.

A video emerged on social media showed Fayyaz ul Hassan admonishing the members of the authorities of the graveyard for not allowing to bury the body of comedian Amanullah.

According to the reports, the family members called the PTI MPA to resolve the matter after they were barred from the authorities who said that they cannot allow a ‘Mirasi’ to be buried here.

Twitter users expressed remorse over the incident and the disgrace of departed comedian Amanullah by the authorities of a private housing society. His fans slammed the authorities for disrespecting Amanullah who spent his entire life making people laugh.

 

Comedian Amanullah died after a prolonged illness in Lahore. He was 70 and was undergoing treatment in the hospital due to a disease related to the lungs and liver. Amanullah had spent 15 days in the hospital due to his illnesses a few months ago.

He was again taken back to the hospital after his health deteriorated.

His funeral is yet to be announced by the family. Amanullah was a popular comedian in Pakistan and was a stand-up comedian artist and held a world-record of 860-day and night theatre plays. Beginning his career from theatre plays, he began working for comedy programs on various TV channels for several years.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry, also expressed grief and called him a legend in a tweet.

Amanullah had not only made his name in Pakistan but he had toured India as well. Popular comedians like Kapil Sharma and Chandan Prabhakar respected him as their teacher and inspiration.

The fellow comedians went into deep shock and expressed remorse on the demise of Amanullah; some called him their inspiration while others revered him as their teacher who taught them the art of comedy.
