In a heart-wrenching turn of events, young Ammar Farooq, the son of PTI ticket holder Mian Ibad Farooq, has met a tragic end, all while Ibad remains in custody. This sorrowful news has rippled across the country, leaving many in shock and disbelief.

Since April 2023, PTI members and workers have endured relentless brutality. The sanctity of Mian Ibad Farooq’s home was violated as authorities, under dubious pretenses, subjected his family to relentless harassment. Ibad himself faced multiple unjust arrests, bearing witness to these nightmarish ordeals ultimately proved to be the undoing of his beloved son, Ammar.
According to credible reports, the young Ammar was profoundly scarred by the horrors he witnessed unfolding before his innocent eyes. Ibad‘s brother confirmed the severe mental trauma the child endured, as he valiantly fought for his fragile life.

Tragically, there are reports that Ammar Farooq was denied essential medical treatment and turned away from certain hospitals, compounding the family’s anguish.

Desperate pleas from Ammar’s family to allow Ibad to see his ailing son went unanswered, and now it is too late. News has emerged that Ibad is being denied the opportunity to bid a final farewell to his cherished son and perform the last rites.
Simultaneously, impassioned activists and ordinary citizens have taken to social media to decry the rampant violence orchestrated by the country’s power elite. Those responsible for the unlawful detention and torment of the Farooq family must be held accountable. They have extinguished the life of an innocent child who never had the chance to experience the fullness of life.
Regrettably, the perpetrators of this heinous act against little Ammar will continue their reign of terror while countless others like him endure untold suffering and meet untimely fates.
