Another Pakistani Worker Honored for his Honesty by Dubai Officials

Pakistani expats are ambassadors of Pakistan, another taxi driver from Karachi proved his honesty once again.

The Dubai Police Authorities honored a Pakistani cab driver, Shafafet Khan Abdulrashid, for his exemplary honesty as he returned forgotten valuables to a Danish family.

The cab driver returned $21,000 cash, a mobile phone and few passports forgotten by the family in his taxi. Upon finding the valuables in his taxi, Shafafet rushed to the Al-Rashidiya police station and returned the belongings of the Danish family.

Brigadier Saeed Hamad bin Sulaiman Al Malek, Director of Al Rashidiya police station, thanked the Pakistani driver on behalf of the force and praised his positive and honest response and emphasized the collaboration between the community and police.

Muzaffar Hussain Nather, was praised by the Dubai police authorities for his bravery and courage for foiling a robbery attempt.

In recognition of his honest efforts, Dubai Police awarded him a certificate of appreciation and a symbolic gift. The family also expressed gratitude to Brigadier Al Malek and taxi driver Shafafet for his swift action.

Earlier, Dubai authorities honored a Pakistani cleaner for returning a bag filled with 15kgs of solid gold bar, worth 7 million Dirhams. The cleaner was on his night shift when he found a bag at a parking facility in the Al Sabkha area, earlier this month.

He opened the bag and found solid gold bars in it. He, however, without a delay, handed the bag over to the authorities. Moreover, another Pakistani expat, Muzaffar Hussain Nather, was praised by the Dubai police authorities for his bravery and courage for foiling a robbery attempt.

The Dubai Police Authorities honored a Pakistani cab driver, Shafafet Khan Abdulrashid, for his exemplary honesty as he returned forgotten valuables to a Danish family.

Nather foiled the attempt and handed over the suspect to the Dubai police officials. Nather thanked Sharjah Police for the honor and said how the award would motivate others to cooperate with the police.

Also, two Pakistani expats were awarded certificates under the campaign ‘Responsible Road User’ initiated by Dubai authorities to honors and commend safe drivers. Mohammad Adnan, a Pakistani delivery man, and Noreen Malik were awarded certificates and a cash prize for driving safely and abiding by all traffic rules.
