Bilawal Bhutto hits back at PM Khan’s “threat” to Zardari

PM Imran Khan, during his speech at Sindh's Governor House, lashed out at the top Opposition leaders, including Asif Zardari. Taking offense, Bilawal Bhutto said such threats will not be tolerated anymore. He also urged ISI to investigate the drone incident with Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari.

Earlier, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto hit back at PM Imran Khan today during his press conference. Referring to PM Khan’s strong speech, Bilawal Bhutto said such threats are intolerable.

To clarify, PM Imran Khan, during his speech at Sindh’s Governor House lashed out at the top Opposition leaders. On former President and PPP Chairman Asif Zardari, PM Khan warned him that he is the next target.

“My first target will be Asif Ali Zardari on whom my gun has been pointing at for a long time,” said PM Imran. While attacking Zardari, the PM claimed that the PPP co-chairperson commits injustice, steals, and takes a commission on everything.

“Asif Zardari your time has come,” said PM Imran Khan.

Taking exception to PM Khan’s hard-hitting words, Bilawal Bhutto said they will not tolerate these “threats” anymore.

“We will not tolerate this anymore; I am here now,” Bilawal said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad.

The PPP chairman said that there have been two such incidents that are unbearable for him — referring to PM Imran Khan’s statement and the drone incident with Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari.

To clarify, during the PPP’s Awami March in Punjab’s Khanewal a few days ago, a drone camera struck Bilawal’s sister Aseefa. The PPP leader suffered a minor cut on her eyebrow and bruises on her hand. However, Bilawal Bhutto is of the view that the attack was deliberate.

“We consider the attack on Aseefa a message for us,” Bilawal alleged. He requested the ISI and other investigation agencies to probe the matter as he doesn’t trust the government on this matter. Bilawal said that PM Imran Khan “threatening with life and death” was not a joke.

Bilawal targets First Lady

Not stopping, Bilawal Bhutto warned PM Khan that he will take steps that will be remembered by future generations.

“What I will do to you will be remembered by your generations. We never used guns but we know how to use them,” Bilawal said, adding that he is a peaceful person and will remain the same.

Furthermore, Bilawal Bhutto made serious allegations against the First Lady. He claimed that he never used inappropriate langue against First Lady Bushra Bibi, but alleged that no transfer and posting is done in the bureaucracy without the permission of the first lady.

Reacting to Bilawal Bhutto’s accusations, Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul Wazir criticized the PPP leader for his comments.

“Shocked to hear Bilawal Zardari’s crude attack on the nonpolitical and dignified First Lady? Just remember that it is pointless to expect honor and civility from a person who associates merrily with those who made and shared nude pictures of his mother and gave her a vulgar title,” Zartaj Gul tweeted.
