British High Commissioner wins Pakistani hearts with tribute to Holy Prophet (PBUH)

British High Commissioner, Christian Turner, extended the greeting Muslims across the globe on the birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Friday

British High Commissioner, Christian Turner, extended the greeting Muslims across the globe on the birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad on Friday. Turner quoted the saying of Prophet Muhammad stressing the importance of kindness in the Islamic faith in his tweet.

“Rabi ul Awwal Mubarak to everyone celebrating in Pakistan & around the world. At this time, remembering the words of The Prophet: “Kindness is a mark of faith, and whoever has not kindness has not faith,” wrote Turner in a tweet.

 

 

The British High Commissioner’s tweet garnered him appreciation on social media from Pakistani and Muslim followers.

Turner has been actively participating in embracing the culture of Pakistan ever since his deployment in Pakistan. From bolstering Pakistan-UK ties, he has been actively working to promote tourism in Pakistan. Turner is playing a pivotal role in building up the positive image of Pakistan globally.

The Government of Pakistan, too, had announced an official public holiday on Friday and urged the citizens to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi with religious zeal. State buildings were illuminated with lights on the occasion across Pakistan.

“He also condemned the heinous blast at a mosque in Peshawar earlier this week. Cowardly attacks on children in schools is senseless. Pakistan’s resolve against terrorism remains strong. Condolences to all those affected by the #PeshawarBlast cc @GovtofPakistan @tariqahmadbt @ukinpakistan,” wrote Turner in a tweet on Oct 27th.
