While hearing the former prime minister’s plea against his arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust case, the SC bench termed Imran Khan’s arrest by Rangers from inside the courtroom “illegal” and ordered his immediate release.
The CJP has remarked that NAB had violated court sanctity while arresting PTI chief Imran Khan. Later the SC ordered authorities concerned to present former prime minister Imran Khan before it within an hour.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto said that he is not in favor of banning any political party and he will be the last person to agree to such a decision.

Director General of Radio Pakistan has confirmed that the building of the state media in Peshawar was attacked. Vehicles parked in the building of Radio Pakistan were also set on fire.
