Changan is launching these three vehicles in Pakistan!

The vehicles mentioned are two SUVs, Uni-T and Oshan X7, and a double cabin pick-up called Hunter, or as it is called Kaicheng F70 in the local market.

Pakistan’s popular tech news platform Techjuice has reported that the Chinese automobile company Changan is all set to launch its three new cars in Pakistan soon.

The vehicles mentioned are two SUVs, Uni-T and Oshan X7, and a double cabin pick-up called Hunter, or as it is called Kaicheng F70 in the local market.

However, this is not the first we are hearing of this development. GVS reported on this on 16th April when people got various hints about this happening.

So, if these cars are going to be arriving in the Pakistani market, let us explore what they offer.

UNI-T

The Chinese SUV has a 1500cc turbocharged engine, with an output of 180hp and 300Nm torque. This comes with a 7-speed DCT transmission.

The exterior comes with a distinctive wide front grille and slim front lights. The car is fitted with 19-inch alloy tires. The car has double exhausts, a spoiler, slim fog lamps, polygonal back lamps, and a skid plate at the rear.

SUV comes with airbags at Driver/Passenger, Front/Side Rear Side, and Front/Rear Curtains positions. Moreover, the safety features are ABS and EBD, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, Brake Assist, Hill Descent Control, Blind Spot Assist, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).

The Interior has a 10.5-inch infotainment system with a simple overall layout. Both driver and passenger seats have electric adjustment features, among many distinct features.

Oshan X7

The body size measures 4700/1860/1690mm and a wheelbase of 2780mm. It is a compact SUV that is lower than its other competitors. The roof of the Oshan X7 has a relatively straight-line design, and the car is equipped with a 20-inch wheel.

The car will come with a 1500cc turbocharged engine, with an output of 178hp and 265Nm torque. It will have 4WD and AWD variants expected in the country.

The car’s interior will come with a multifunction steering wheel and power windows. The driver and passenger seats are ventilated, heated, and electrically adjustable.

Other luxury-like features are LCD Instrument Panel with Navigation and Bluetooth. X7 also has Immobilizer, Keyless engine start, central lock, and electric trunk options.

On the safety front, the car comes with driver, passenger, front, rear and side airbags. Other features similar to Uni-T include ABS + EBD, brake assist, panoramic camera, traction control, and hill start assist.

Hunter F70

The Changan pickup is reportedly a joint venture between Changan Auto and Groupe PSA, the second-largest car manufacturer in Europe.
In measurements, the Changan Hunter pickup is 5330mm long, 1930mm wide, and 1835 mm tall. The front has a chrome encrypted vertical grille with two large-sized headlights having round headlamps in it. The rear-end design is typical as all other pickup trucks have.

The three engine choices Changan offers include a 1.9 liters diesel engine that produces a maximum output of 150 hp and a torque of 350 Nm, a 2.4 liters petrol engine that produces a maximum output of 218 hp and a torque of 320 Nm, and lastly a 2.5 liters diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 129 hp and a torque of 360 Nm.

All these engines offer a six-speed manual transmission. With an 80-Litre capacity fuel tank, the Hunter supports 1000km supper driving mileage.

It is not confirmed yet, that Changan Pakistan will offer all F70 pickup truck engine choices here.

The truck is also equipped with high-end features like Led lamps, premium leather seats, Reverse Camera, Cruise Control, push-button Start, rear AC vent, 10″ display with touch screen, Bedliner with 226mm ground clearance.

It is worth mentioning that these features are not revealed by Changan Pakistan, and are presented based on the international specifications offered in the same models by Changan.
