Unable to take criticism, Ali Azmat alleged that Ali Zafar maneuvered to fail the ceremony in angst in his interview with Waseem Badami on ARY News program Har Lamha Purjosh. When asked about his reactions to the social media backlash on the PSL 5 anthem, ‘Tayyar Hain’, Ali Azmat said that a rival singer, implying Ali Zafar, had planted bloggers on social media to deride the new anthem.

Adding that these bloggers working on a paid campaign spurred a negative Twitter trend against the song, and suspects that Ali Zafar is behind them. He asserted that even Pakistan Sports Board is also aware of this alleged conspiracy.

Badami said he should name the artist otherwise the audience will assume he is talking about Ali Zafar. To which Ali Azmat said he don’t want to name the artist. He said Asim Azhar apologized because he has never confronted such a hate campaign before. He reasserted that, he thinks the hate against the song was not organic but engineered.

Ali Azmat adds on to say that later on people appreciated the song the more it was played. Ali Azmat said he will not say anything against Ali Zafar because he usually files defamation cases against rivals.

Meanwhile, Ali Zafar released his video mocking the accusations of Ali Azmat on his Twitter account. In a video, said to be his rebuttal to the allegations, Ali Zafar said people unable to take criticism or failed ventures should take the responsibility instead of maligning him with baseless accusations. Adding that, he did not realize he is so powerful to run paid campaigns and ruin the efforts of PCB and other artists. The singer said he is not responsible if anything goes wrong in other people’s life.
