Ertugrul-famed Turkish actor, Engin Altan Duzyatan, received a warm welcome in Pakistan upon his arrival in Lahore on Thursday. The pictures of Altan interacting with fans and followers circulated on social media yesterday night.
He was presented a sword and a bouquet on his visit. According to reports, he is expected to address a press conference on Friday. He was showered rose petals upon his arrival. He addressed a press conference in a private hotel on Friday in Lahore.

In his press conference, Altan praised the reception and hospitality he is receiving in Pakistan. He also said a popular slogan ‘Lahore Lahore Aye’ (Lahore is Lahore) and Shukriya Pakistan (Thank You Pakistan).
He thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for appreciating the series Dirilis Ertugrul and his performance. He said its an honor for them that Pakistan loved the series. He added that he and his team mates had poured in a lot of hard work and efforts in the series which can see in the form of extreme adulation from Pakistan.
Altan said that he would consider working with Pakistani projects if he is offered a good spirit.
He said that this is his first tour to Pakistan and he would love to explore the country if he gets to visit again in the future. The Turkish actor said that he is aware of the rich landscape of Pakistan.

In response to a question, Altan said that he cherished Pakistani food though it was a bit spicy for his taste.
Pakistan’s Embassy in Turkey announced his visit to Pakistan on Wednesday night. The embassy posted the picture of Duzyatan arriving at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. According to the reports, his trip has been organized by a private company. The details of his low key visit have not yet been released.

Engin Altan: Visit delayed to Pakistan
Duzyatan was expected to visit Pakistan back in October. He was scheduled to tour Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. According to the organizers, Altan would have met his fans in these three cities. Engin Altan Duzyatan had also confirmed his much-awaited visit to Pakistan.

Earlier the tour of Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan, Ertugrul’s lead star, was delayed after key Arab allies had voiced discontentment over his planned tour in October, stated anchorperson Dr. Mooed Pirzada in his talk show in October.
