UAE golden visa for Javed Afridi
Back in April, United Arab Emirates (UAE) had granted a golden visa to Peshawar Zalmi’s owner, Javed Afridi. He was granted the golden visa in recognition of his services for the support of the community through sports and his exemplary achievements as a businessman.
On Wednesday, Javed Afridi thanked UAE for the heartwarming gesture of appreciating his services. “I am pretty much grateful to the leadership of the UAE for the visa. It’s not just a visa, it’s also to pass on the message to the next generation that if someone has the ability, he can achieve those things. I am hopeful that in this course of action, many investors will come to the UAE,” said Javed Afridi while talking to Khaleej Times.
In his conversation, he praised the efforts of the UAE against the pandemic. “The country’s leadership is exemplary. They have a very big vision for their nation. The UAE has become the biggest attraction for anyone who has some innovative ideas. Also, the responsibility shown by the UAE government during the pandemic has been exemplary,” he said.
