First-ever military reality show to be broadcasted in Pakistan

To further promote Pakistan's Army, the country will soon see its first-ever military reality show. The show will explain to the world why Pakistan Army claims they are the best.

According to a tweet by Fakhr-e-Alam on Monday, who is a singer-turned-host, a military show will be broadcasted for the first time in Pakistan.

He shared the first teaser of the show on his Twitter account. With an interesting caption, he gave an insight into the show. The show will be broadcasted on PTV and Hum News. It is a joint production in collaboration with Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). ISPR has already shared two teasers of the show on its official YouTube channel.

The show titled ‘60 Hours to Glory’ will document the show on PATS– Pakistan Army Team Spirits Competition. “PATS Competition is designed to test tactical skills in physical and professional domains, evaluating responses generated in challenging real-time battlefield scenarios. The 60 hours long event subjects the teams to various cross-domain scenarios and encompasses tasks including physical endurance, night navigation, minefield clearance, water obstacle crossing, close target reconnaissance, and speed march. PATS commenced in the year 2015 and ever since it has evolved into one of the toughest and most exacting tactical exercises of the world,” read a description on the ISPR page.

It also posted an engaging introduction to the reality show. The show will tell the world why Pakistan Army claims they are the best.

“The Military Reality Show, 60 Hours to Glory, is a unique production, which will showcase the rigors of Pak Army’s training regime, portraying ‘Why We are the Best. Following the intense competition of PATS-21, the events have been shot in real-time, with no enactment at all. The viewers will remain engaged in a roller-coaster production comprising 25 sensational episodes. The Show has been designed to stimulate the entertainment industry to produce an innovative stream of thrilling and adventurous content.”

The format of the show has been designed to engage audiences as well. By answering simple questions, the winners can get an opportunity to participate in intense military adventure sports activities.
