Father of Sania Mirza, Imran Mirza responded to his daughter’s marriage rumors with Indian cricketer Muhammad Shami.

A rumor has been circulating on social media claiming that Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza, ex-wife of Shoaib Malik, and Indian cricketer Muhammad Shami are set to tie the knot. Speculations began with both celebrities posting about the possibility of a second marriage on their respective social media.

Several online pages soon picked up the rumor claiming the sports celebrities were set to tie the knot. Hence addressing these rumors, Sania Mirza’s father Imran Mirza said:  “This is all rubbish. She has not even met him.”

Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza is gearing up for a deeply spiritual journey to Makkah, where she will embark on the sacred pilgrimage of Hajj. Sharing this significant life update with her Instagram followers, the celebrated athlete expressed her gratitude for the forthcoming opportunity.

In a heartfelt post, Sania conveyed the importance of the pilgrimage as a moment of seeking redemption and spiritual rejuvenation. “Dear friends and loved ones, I have been blessed with the incredible opportunity to embark on the sacred journey of Hajj,” she wrote, humbly asking for forgiveness for any past wrongdoings and shortcomings.

Reflecting on the significance of the journey, Sania expressed her deep gratitude and prayed for acceptance and guidance on this blessed path. “I am deeply fortunate and feel immensely grateful,” she added. She requested her followers to keep her in their thoughts and prayers as she sets out on this lifelong journey, aiming to return as a better human being with a humble heart and stronger faith.

This upcoming pilgrimage marks Sania’s second spiritual trip to Saudi Arabia. Last year, following her retirement from professional tennis, she undertook an Umrah pilgrimage with her close ones.
