Has Balochistan’s government recovered 300 missing persons?

The government was given a list of 400 missing persons. Is it true that 300 of them have been recovered? out

Balochistan’s Home Minister Mir Zia Lango on Monday said that he was given a list of 400 missing persons, out of which 300 people have been recovered and sent home with the help of the federal government.

According to media reports, the home minister said that the provincial government has been taking “serious steps since day one to resolve the issue of missing persons.” So far, 300 persons have been recovered, whose names were mentioned in the list provided by an organisation collecting information on missing persons, Lango said.

The minister added that the relatives of the recovered missing persons who have been sent home have also confirmed their safe arrival, adding that efforts are also underway for the recovery of the remaining missing persons.

Zia Lango said that all state institutions, the provincial government, as well as the general public, are on one page for the restoration of law and order in the province.

It is important to note that some terrorists are also presented as missing persons. In this regard, Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch is a terrorist, revealed Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar, Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on November 14, 2020. Gen. Iftikhar said that there is audio of Dr. Allah Nazar’s contacts with Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), India’s spy agency. Dr. Allah Nazar traveled to India on a fake Afghan passport, he added.

He claimed that an audio conversation was held between Dr. Allah Nazar and RAW officials to carry out activities causing instability in Pakistan. Gen. Iftikhar also added that India is distributing billions of rupees among banned organizations to create unrest in the country.

Interestingly, Dr. Allah Nazar has long been presented by human rights activists and journalists as a missing person. Pakistan’s security institutions were held responsible for his disappearance. Some journalists also claimed that Dr. Nazar was forcibly abducted by the security agencies of the country.

Hamid Mir, Pakistan’s prominent journalist, also urged the state of Pakistan to hold talks with Dr. Nazar to establish peace in the province.

Who is Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch?

Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch is a militant and the current leader of the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), a militant group operating in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Under his leadership, the Baloch Liberation Front claimed responsibility for attacks on civilians, journalists, government and security personnel. Out of the total 38 journalists killed in Balochistan since 2007, Baloch Liberation Front and Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for killing 27 of those journalists.

Nazar Baloch has also threatened to conduct attacks against schools in Pakistan. He made those threats while giving reference to the 2014 attack on a school which took place in Peshawar.

India supports Baloch terrorists

A retired major of the Indian Army Gaurav Arya openly has openly confessed that his country supports and trains Baloch terrorists to target the Pakistan army.

“I am in touch with Baloch terrorists. The Punjabi Pakistani Army, we will give them such a bloody nose that these people will remember for ten generations”, he had said. He went on to say that he has their [Baloch terrorist]’s contact numbers in his mobile phone and he is in touch with them ‘almost every day’. He added that he told them about the entire Indian population stands with the ‘Baloch struggle’.

Four years ago, Pakistan arrested Kulbhushan Yadav, who is a serving naval office of India, for destabilizing Pakistan through sponsoring Baloch insurgents. In a video, Commander Kulbhushan Yadav, while admitting his role in terror-related activities in Pakistan has said; “My purpose was to hold meetings with the Baloch insurgents and carry out activities with their collaboration. These activities have been of criminal nature, leading to the killing of or maiming of Pakistani citizens.”

He explicitly narrated that the Indian intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), is involved in a separatist movement in Pakistan. “I realize during this process that RAW is involved in some activities related to the Baloch liberation movement within Pakistan and the region around it”, he clarified.
