Imran Ismail claims PM Shehbaz Sharif spent Rs.75 million on swimming pool

Maryam Nawaz has denied the news and even lambasted a TV channel for allegedly running a piece of fake news. The media outlet has quoted Imran Ismail as saying that he stands by his news and has more videos to prove his claim.

PTI leader Imran Ismail claims that prime minister Shehbaz Sharif is spending Rs 75 million on the renovation of the swimming pool in the Prime Minister House.

Former Governor Imran Ismail even shared the video of the renovation work going on at a swimming pool reportedly at the PM House. In his tweet, he said, “Shehbaz’s showbiz is limited to his luxuries and favors. Less than a month after coming into government, the Prime Minister’s House swimming pool was repaired at a cost of Rs. 75 million.”

Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz claims the media outlet is spreading fake news and disinformation among the people.

Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Information Minister of Pakistan, has not issued a clear statement on the issue so far.

The current government is coming under intense criticism from netizens for spending allegedly on the luxuries when the country is suffering from an economic crunch.

In another report, PMLN has reportedly razed a football stadium in Sargodha for its public rally. The public rally is expected to be held on 19th May.

Last week, the Interior Ministry of Pakistan has allowed providing VIP  security to PMLN Vice President Maryam Nawaz.

State security has been provided to Maryam Nawaz on the recommendation of the committee of the Interior Ministry. The security squad will include personnel from Rangers and Police. According to the media reports, security will be provided in all the residences of Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Police officials will be deployed as guards at her residence. Maryam Nawaz will be provided with police and rangers security cover during her stay and movement in the Islamabad Capital Territory. The Interior Ministry has directed the respective provinces to provide the security cover to Maryam Nawaz during her movement in other districts.
