India is about to experience another high-profile wedding in the row as Isha Ambani, the daughter of the richest man of India Mukesh Ambani is set to tie the knot with Anand Piramal. As said, the wedding will be another extravagant affair that has already become the talk of the town with lavish preparations underway.
A few days back video of extremely intricate yet expansive wedding invitations from Ambanis to their guest rolled on social media. The wedding invitation designed from Dolce and Gabbana worth INR 300,000 intrigued the social media users but it also heralds the wedding to be one mighty affair in India.

As per the glitzy details of the wedding, several Bollywood celebrities including Hollywood singer Beyonce will be performing in a private wedding function. Moreover, several customs and immigration counters have been set up at the Mumbai Airport for guest flying in from abroad. These separate counters will remain operational for five days.

“The event will have many visitors from abroad, so customs and immigration counters have been set up at the airport and will remain active for the next five days,” the airport source said. 100 chartered flights will be landing in Udaipur Airport, the city from where the Ambani family has kicked off wedding celebrations.
Designer Manish Malhotra, who is also in the City of Lakes, was one of the first celebrity guests to arrive. He posted a picture on Instagram with the Ambanis.

Indian media have speculated that the guest list includes former US President Bill Clinton, along with his wife and Democratic candidate in the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton. As the wedding celebrations are in full swing, the pictures of the couple serving food at ‘Anna Seva’ has come afloat on media. In the picture, the couple is feeding 5100 people a large chunk of which were differently-abled people.

“Ambanis seek Udaipur’s blessings for their Daughter’s wedding through a special ‘Anna Seva’ – To serve food to 5100 people 3 times a day from 7-10 December – To support 108 traditional Indian Crafts through a Swadesh Bazaar,” read the statement from Ambani’s spokesperson.
After the Udaipur celebrations, the families will return to Mumbai where there will be four more days of functions, including two receptions. The Ambanis have reportedly booked numerous five-star properties in the Lake City, not just for guests but also the teams that will be working behind the scenes.
Business tycoons Mukesh Ambani and Ajay Piramal were present in the event along with their respective families. According to the Forbes magazine, Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries has a net worth of $47 billion.

The Piramals have interests in pharmaceuticals and real estate, and according to a report in the news magazine India Today, have given the couple a 50,000-sq-foot (4,645-sqm) sea-facing home in Mumbai. Some of the expensive and top-notch Indian designers are designing the wedding dresses and jewelery for the families.
The couple got engaged in September after Anand Piramal proposed to Isha at a temple in Mumbai. The families celebrated a fanciful engagement ceremony in Italy, Lake Como. The families since then have been in the mood of festivities. The wedding of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will be another high-profile wedding after Deep-veer and Nick-Priyanka wedding.
