The Y line of smartphones from Vivo keeps expanding as the company releases variants tailored to specific regions. Recently, the Y35 4G has debuted in Indonesia, and its low price makes it a very attractive option. It takes after low-end smartphones with a waterdrop notch for the front camera and a large chin.

Design and Display

The front screen is a 6.58-inch IPS LCD, and it can display 1080p video at 90 frames per second. We’ve already established that its front-facing camera is housed in a waterdrop notch, and we’ve seen that the device’s glossy rear cover features a crisscross design. Not a periscope lens at all, the smaller square cutout is actually a macro sensor.

The right-side fingerprint reader also functions as the power button.

Mechanical Components and Data Storage

Internally, it utilises Qualcomm’s low-cost Snapdragon 680 SoC, together with up to 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. With a micro SD card, you may increase the device’s storage capacity by up to 1 terabyte, and the device’s RAM can theoretically be increased by up to 8 gigabytes.

Android 12 is preinstalled, and Vivo’s Funtouch OS 12 is installed on top.

Cameras

The primary camera features a 50-megapixel sensor, while two secondary cameras, each with a resolution of 2 megapixels, are used for depth detection and macro shots. These cameras can only record in 1080p resolution and aren’t OIS-compatible (OIS).

The 8MP front-facing camera is housed in the waterdrop notch.

In Indonesia, you can purchase a Vivo Y35 4G for as little as $232. Both Agate Black and Dawn Gold colour choices are readily accessible.
