Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works of Pakistan showcased its products in IDEX (International Defence Exhibition and Conference) 2019, Abu Dhabi. The exhibition opened on Sunday, 17th February and will continue till 21st February 2019.
IDEX is acclaimed to be the world’s most strategically important tri-service defense exhibition in whichever new equipment and technologies related to land, air and sea warfare are exhibited for state departments.
This gives the country and its institutions visibility helps boost their business potential and contributes to improving the economy of the country. Delegations from several countries across the world are participating.
As the only international defense exhibition and conference in the MENA [Middle East North African] region demonstrating the latest technology across land, sea and air sectors of defense, the event thus provides a unique platform to establish and strengthen relationships with government departments, businesses and armed forces throughout the region.
IDEX is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in association and with the full support of the UAE Armed Forces.
MD Karachi Shipping and Engineering Works (KSEW) Rear Admiral Ather Saleem SI (M) is also participating in the conference with his team. He believes that participation in international forums like IDEX poses an excellent opportunity for Pakistani defense production establishments to showcase their products and attract business from the international market.
