Naseem, Shadab likely to play remaining T20I matches against England

Shadab Khan will play in place of Usman Qadir and Naseem Shah will play in place of Muhammad Wasim Jr or Muhammad Hasnain.

Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan are likely to play the remaining T20I matches against England. The last three matches of the seven T20I series will be played in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

Shadab Khan will play in place of Usman Qadir and Naseem Shah will play in place of Muhammad Wasim Jr or Muhammad Hasnain. Naseem Shah had played the first T20I against England; he was given rest for the three games played in Karachi. Meanwhile, Shadab Khan has not played any game. He is likely to be back in the squad for the Lahore leg.

Pakistan equalized the series against England with an unbelievable win on Sunday at Karachi’s National Stadium.

Both the team reached Lahore yesterday and will start training from today. Pakistan will play its fifth T20I against England on Wednesday. Two pitches have been prepared for the matches on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The cricket fans are immensely enjoying the visit of the England cricket team to Pakistan. The National Stadium of Karachi recorded a massive turnover of spectators as all four matches went full-house. Massive turnout is expected in Lahore as well.

Haris Rauf played a key role in making Pakistan win the match after Haris Rauf claimed two crucial wickets in the second last over of the second innings. Haris Rauf was awarded player of the match for his match-changing spell. With a thrilling win last night, Pakistan leveled the series by 2-2 in the Karachi leg.
