Morning show host Nida Yasir reveals why she does not take pictures with male fans. Recently, a video of Nida Yasir went viral on social media in which she turned down the request by a male fan to take pictures with her.
She was present at a public event when a few male fans approached her. Yasir walked off despite requests from the male fan. In the video, she was heard saying that she does not take pictures with male fans.
The video attracted humongous attention on social media. Later Nida Yasir said: “The reason is that I have seen photographs of a lot of actresses on random pages with captions. They [other actresses] must’ve posed considering them their fans but the captions on Facebook etc say ‘Meet my friend, [XYZ].”
“I don’t judge anyone ever since, but I’ll get photographed with families, with female friends, but not with male fans,” Nida Yasir remarked.

Earlier, she was in the news and had garnered mockery on social media as she was seen clueless about Formula One cars in an old video that resurfaced online on social media.
The video shows the host had invited the students of NUST who had created a Formula One-styled Car and were heading to participate in an event in the USA representing Pakistan. As the show goes on, she asked bizarre questions from the students that reflected her complete lack of knowledge about the Formula One racing cars.
At the beginning of the video, Nida Yasir asked if they have initially made the ‘formula’ and will test it later.
She asked questions about how many people can be seated in the car. The student replied one. Then she asked if they will make Formula One car that will seat two people. She asked if the Formula One cars run at the same speed as the normal cars that run on petrol. Then she asked if they had installed horns in the car.
