Pakistan has received approval from Amazon to Register Pakistan in the verified Amazon seller list, Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood announced on Thursday.

A renewed list of the approved selling countries list will be issued on Amazon’s official website in the next 12-24 hours.

This is being seen as a massive achievement for Pakistan’s e-commerce sector as Pakistani products will now be available to millions of consumers globally. Amazon is known as “one of the most influential economic and cultural forces in the world”. It was founded by Jeff Bezos on July 5, 1994. It is also a part of the list of the Big Four technology companies, along with Google, Apple, and Facebook.
