PM Imran Khan urges world to stop ‘Delhi riots’, violence against Muslims

Acting as the ambassador of minorities, he proclaimed minorities of Pakistan equal citizens. He laid particular emphasis on the protection and sanctity of the places of worship of non-Muslims in Pakistan.

PM Imran Khan

PM Imran Khan has given a vehement call to the international community to immediately intervene to stop the appalling rampage by Hindutva extremists against Muslims in New Delhi.

Delhi has been at the center point of communal riots in India for the past few days; petrifying images of brutal assault and massacre of Muslims on the streets of Delhi are pouring in on social media, triggering concerns and outrage from people across the globe.

Delhi riots are a fresh episode of intense conflict in the spree of protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, kicked across India ever since the divisive bill was pitched by BJP last year. The intensity of protests and violence has escalated since December last year.

PM Khan reasserted that a Nazi-inspired RSS ideology has seized India which is unleashing its vile agenda to persecute minorities driven by racism and bigotry. He said that nearly 200 million Muslim’s safety and security are at risk.

PM Imran Khan has been repeatedly bringing to the world notice the serious consequences of RSS and Nazi-inspired fanatics that have taken over India.

“Today in India we are seeing the Nazi-inspired RSS ideology take over a nuclear-armed state of over a billion people. Whenever a racist ideology based on hatred takes over, it leads to bloodshed,” wrote Imran Khan.

He recalled his warning from his United Nations General Assembly speech in which he had predicted that if not taken control, the Hindutva ideology will spur violence and bloodshed in India that will draw the entire region in instability and conflict.

“IOJK [Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir] was the beginning. Now 200 million Muslims in India are being targeted. The world community must act now,” added PM Imran Khan.

But in the following tweet, he has warned the potential miscreants in Pakistan as well. PM Khan said that miscreants stoking communal tensions in Pakistan will be dealt with strictly. Acting as the ambassador of minorities, he proclaimed minorities of Pakistan equal citizens. He laid particular emphasis on the protection and sanctity of the places of worship of non-Muslims in Pakistan.

His additional warnings perhaps came in response to the incidents of desecrating mosques in India by Hindutva fanatics.

Watch: Delhi is burning, Muslims under attack

Indian Twitter is brimming with numerous videos and images of Hindutva goons vandalizing the properties of Muslims in several areas of Delhi.

Several videos have shown Hindutva fanatics stomping the streets of Muslim majority residential areas with metal rods in hands, destroying the mosques, and raising RSS flag from the minarets of the mosques.

In a separate incident, another mosque has been reportedly burnt by RSS goons.  Indian media has reported that several men with rods and pistols in their hands surrounded the mosque and set upon the worshippers including children.

Another horrific video of Policemen forcing injured Muslim men to sing chant ‘Jai Hind’ and sing ‘Bande Mataram’ went viral on social media, exuding their hate and hostilities towards Muslims.

PM Imran Khan is making every possible effort to expose the ruthless BJP administration led by PM Narendra Modi that has shredded the secular fabric of Indian society also posing a continuous threat to the stability of the region with ultra-nationalism and jingoism.
