PM Shehbaz Sharif urges Mian Mansha to make a hospital

Mian Muhammad Mansha is a Pakistani business magnate and billionaire. He is the founder and CEO of the Lahore-based international conglomerate Nishat Group. PM Shehbaz Sharif said he expects Mian Mansha to make a hospital.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged business tycoon Mian Mansha to make a charitable hospital from his vast fortune. A video clip of PM Sharif has gone viral on social media in which he is urging Mansha for making a hospital from his wealth while addressing an event on Sunday.

He passed these statements during the inauguration of the Saleem Memorial Trust Hospital in Lahore. PM Shehbaz Sharif said he expects Mian Mansha to make a hospital. Building a hospital requires nearly Rs. 4-6 billion and it should not be a big deal for Mian Mansha owing to the vast fortune he has. PM Sharif said spending Rs.4 to 5 billion from his fortune is like a drop of the ocean for him. PM Shehbaz said these words at the end of his speech.

He then went down the stage and shook hands with Mian Mansha. PM Shehbaz then came back on the stage and announced that Mian Mansha has agreed to make a hospital. Shehbaz Sharif said that he will earn more profits by spending more on the noble cause.

Shehbaz Sharif during his speech at Shangla said that he will reduce the wheat price in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa even if he has to sell his clothes.

Meanwhile, Shehbaz Sharif is seen defending his niece who passed controversial statements against a high-profile serving army officer. Maryam Nawaz had said that former premier Imran Khan only lasted in office for over three years as he had the support of a former intelligence officer [Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed].

Criticism poured in on social media following her statements prompting PM Shehbaz Sharif to offer clarification.
