Thankfully, there's at least something that makes Pakistan's political parties to gather for a cause.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry on Monday said all the political parties would collectively bring out a rally on February 24 from Press Club to D-Chowk Islamabad to highlight the Kashmir issue at international level.

As per the decision taken at the All Parties Conference (APC), the leaders of political and religious parties, along with Hurriyat leadership would address the rally, he told APP.

Kashmiris living in Pakistan and students of the different schools and colleges would join the rally, he added.

The AJK president underlined that the incumbent Government of Pakistan under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan had highlighted the Kashmir issue at all global forums, besides exposing India’s state terrorism in the held valley.

“Kashmir lives in the hearts of Pakistanis all over Pakistan and around the world and we stand with them”, he remarked. He said that Pakistan has highlighted Kashmir issue at every forum, it would also be discussed during PM Imran Khan’s visit to China as well. The minister appreciated DEMP for holding a splendid exhibition in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day.

He said that the students have exposed atrocities in Kashmir through paintings being exhibited in the exhibition. Additional Secretary Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Mubashir Tauqeer and other senior officials from the ministry were also present on the occasion.

Farrukh Habib visited the photographic exhibition and evinced keen interest in the photographs. The participants were also shown a documentary on Indian atrocities and barbarism titled “Kashmir’s Story”. Minister of State Farrukh Habib distributed prizes among those who took prominent positions in painting competitions among the students. The Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications organizes a photo exhibition every year on Solidarity Day to highlight Indian atrocities.

PTI senator, Faisal Javed Khan, shared the picture of Krishna Kumari, a female Hindu senate, chairing a session on Kashmir. Sharing the picture on Twitter, Khan said that it is symbolic that Krishna Kumari is chairing a session on the Kashmir issue.

In the caption of the post, he said: “A Hindu presiding Senate Session on Kashmir in Pakistan. Chairman Senate asks our colleague Krishna Kumari Kohli to do the honor. In connection w/ #KashmirSolidarityDay it’s a strong msg going out depicting differences btw Pakistan & Hindustan #PakForMinorities #IndiaAgainstMinorities.”
