The pictures of Bollywood star Ranveer Singh hugging a disheartened Pakistani fan in the stadium are circulating on social media. Singh approached a sobbing Pakistani fan after the match and solaced him to be hopeful for his team.

The man, Aatif Nawaz, shared his video with the actor on social media. Ranveer can be seen consoling him: “Put it there man, put it there.”

“There’s always a next time! Don’t be disheartened, “he tells Aatif, while admiring the Pakistani team.

The Bollywood star ended his message with an Urdu phrase which is a clear reference to the slogan used by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“Boys are committed, dedicated, professional and they’ll be back. “He said for the green shirts. And in response, the Pakistani fans seem happy and can’t stop thanking him enough for the moral support.

Ranveer Singh posted a picture with Kohli and wrote a lengthy caption telling fans how much he loved cricket and wanted India to become the undisputed best in the World.

“I’ve been a die-hard fan of Indian cricket since childhood. Invested so much emotion in our beloved team. Willing and wanting them to be the best in the world. And then, there was a VIRAT KOHLI. I’ve witnessed a brave boy evolve into the very embodiment of class. Displaying a rare brand of ferocity and passionate expressions, he changed the face of Indian cricket forever. He’s well on his way to being hailed as the greatest of all time. Leading our country is like a true alpha warrior. “He wrote.
