Pakistani actor Shaan Shahid has finally released the trailer of his much-awaited movie ‘Zarrar’ on Pakistan Day 23rd March.

He plays a titular character of Zarrar- a member of a special group of ISI in the movie. A three-and-half minute trailer talks about the dark future of Pakistan and Shaan Shahid’s race against the time to protect the country from the attack of enemies. In the trailer, Shaan introduces himself as a member of ISI who is on a task to ‘eliminate the threats to the country even before they happen’.

Shot in the streets of Istanbul, the film promises plenty of action scenes. The plot of the story focuses on the foreign players conspiring to destabilize and damage Pakistan by labeling it as a failed state with a fragile economy and corrupt politicians. The film also features the role of RAW against Pakistan. And Shaan is on a mission to bust those conspiracies.

Shaan shared the trailer on his Twitter account with a caption, “Let’s celebrate Pakistan Day and save this country in these stressful times.”

“As responsible citizens, we bring you the trailer of the most entertaining, most anxiously awaited blockbuster of the year. Stay at home and celebrate with Zarrar!”

The trailer also features Kiran Malik as Shaan Shahid’s love interest. Nayyar Ejaz plays an antagonist who wished a doom for Pakistan. The film also features Nadeem Baig, however, the trailer does not contain much of his scenes.

Earlier, in January Shaan had shared a small teaser of his movie on social media. The teaser began with messages of “The color of sacrifice is red” and “The color of sacrifice is green” followed by “We are in a state of war”.

The trailer of the movie is released after 6 years of BTS. The movie is expected to release this year but no release date has been given yet.

This is, however, not a new genre of movies for Shaan Shahid. He has played the character of a military man in several movies before including Yalghar, War in which he played a Pakistani major and a former Pakistani spy in Operation 021.
