Shaniera Akram reveals her favorite in Pakistan vs Australia match

Earlier, she had asked her Twitter followers who they think she would be supporting in the Pakistan and Australia match. Later, she answered that she would love Pakistan to win. However, she said that she will be happy too if Australia wins.

The wife of a former cricketer, Shaniera Akram, says she will support Pakistan in the T20 World Cup semi-final against Australia.

Pakistan will be confronting Australia in the T20 World Cup semi-final. New Zealand has already been through to the finals of the T20 World Cup 2021 after defeating England by five wickets.

Pakistan has to defeat Australia to reach the finals. The green shirts have remained undefeated in the tournament so far.

“My answer is I’d love PAK to win because nothing would make me happier than to see the cricket fanatic country I have grown to love to go the distance. Lifting the #t20WorldCup would be a dream come true for Pakistan! But if Australia wins, Of course, I’d be really happy too #PAKvAUS,” wrote Shaniera Akram in a tweet.

However, she added that she hopes for a good display of cricket despite the outcome. Shaniera Akram added that every Pakistani all over the world wants Pakistan to be recognized as the best on the world platform, and cricket is one of them.

Earlier, she had asked her Twitter followers who they think she would be supporting in the Pakistan and Australia match. “I want to know from all of you ??? Which team do you guys think I will cheer for??? #AUSvsPAK #T20WorldCup,” said Shaniera Akram in a tweet.


Her tweet had come in response to the Twitter user asking Fakhr-e-Alam to ask Wasim Akram who will Shaniera Akram support. Commenting on his tweet, she asked her Twitter followers to share their opinions as to who they think she will support in the semifinal.

Cricket fans, however, are already predicting that Pakistan will defeat Australia in the semifinal. Some fans have been recalling the defeat of Pakistan at the hands of Australia in 1999. Australia had defeated Pakistan by eight wickets in the ICC World Cup final.
