Sindh Police extends invitation to Martin Kobler for a meet-up

Sohail Ahmed Jokhyo, the Information Person for Sindh Police has invited the German Ambassador Martin Kobler to meet before he retires and departs the country. The invitation was extended to the German Ambassador Kobler in response to his appreciation tweet of Sindh Police.

Yesterday Martin Kobler hailed the decision of the Sindh Police to provide five percent employment to the members of the transgender community in Sindh Police. He said they will be given administrative office jobs in the provincial police force.

Martin Kobler called it an effective step in increasing the inclusivity of the marginalized groups in society. Kobler wrote, “Great decision of Sindh Police to include transgenders in the line defense. Well done Dr.Kaleem! The inclusion of every community into mainstream is very important.”

German ambassador has been quite vocal in supporting Pakistan internationally. He often tweets and shares pleasant stuff regarding the people, culture, and beauty of Pakistan.

“IGP Sindh Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam has announced that for the first time transgenders will be recruited in Sindh Police, adding that disable quota has also been reinstated”, read the Twitter statement of Sindh Police Department.

Meanwhile, Syed Kaleem Imam stated that the transgender community members will be given various office jobs in the provincial force. He also informed that the due process to facilitate the disabled persons in the provincial police force is also underway. Imam promised to accommodate the minorities in the Police department as well.

The decision of Sindh Police on the inclusion of the transgender community in the Police force have been immensely appreciated on social media. In the recent past, Sindh Police has been busy taking appreciable steps to play its responsible role in society.
