Social Media slams Momina Mustehsan for dancing skills at Lux Style Awards

Momina Mustehsan is being criticized on social media for her poor performance in Lux Style Awards. People are not happy with her dancing skills and they have been very open about it.

Singer Momina Mustehsan is being trolled for her Lux Style Awards performance. The Lux Style Awards opened up with the performance of the singer. Mustehsan performed along with Lyari rapper in the event.

Her video from the show went viral on social media and people could not resist taking jibes at her. Netizens also slammed the organizers of the Lux Style Awards for giving the stage to Momina Mustehsan when she can’t dance.

Lux Style Awards shared her video on official Instagram account.

“A power-packed opening performance by Momina Mustehsan celebrating womanhood with local female rap star, Eva B who’s defying judgments with her debut,” Lux Style Awards captioned the video.

“Jabhi to hamare awards koi Nahi dekhta jab ye content hoga (The reason nobody watches our award shows is such substandard content),” wrote one user on social media.

“Momina Mustehsan should sack the stylist who styled her for #LSA2019.

MominaMustehsan everything aside that color dress with that hair color is criminal offense from any stylist,” commented another user.

“She is not even dancing!! Just moving here and there. What a rocking performance??!! These steps we used to do during our school play. Kya pagalpana hai!! Kisi ko bhi bas sar par charha do,” a critic wrote on social media.


Momina Mustehsan has been slammed by netizens on social media on several occasions.

Earlier, she had a Twitter spat with Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari. Mazari had criticized the Coke Studio’s rendition of classic ‘Ko Ko Korina’. Not only Mazari, but a large number of Coke Studio fans had criticized Momina Mustehsan the makers of the song.

Nevertheless, she has been acclaimed internationally ever since her debut with Afreen Afreen alongside Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on Coke Studio.

Last year she was named in the list of 40 Influential Under 40 by Stony Brook University. She was given this accolade in the category of civil service and activism in it’s Fourth Annual Under 40′ ceremony in New York.
