Indian netizens are calling to boycott the upcoming Bollywood movie Laal Singh Chaddha featuring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
Netizens call for the boycott of the movie for multiple reasons. Some argue why to watch a copied movie when the original is available on OTT Hindi and English. Laal Singh Chaddha is scheduled to release in the cinema on August 11th, 2022. The film is directed by Advait Chandan and written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni.

Laal Singh Chaddha is the adaptation of the Hollywood movie ‘Forrest Gump’ hence they call for the boycott of the movie. Twitter users say they do not want to waste their money on a copied movie.

Others are bringing up the controversial statements of the Aamir Khan that India is intolerant. He even questioned some of the religious rituals practiced in India. Aamir Khan seems to have damaged his public fame and support after passing such statements. He recently praised the recent controversial movie, The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film had garnered criticism from the Muslim community and was banned from screening in several countries.
