Indian men commit suicide after India loses to Australia by six wickets in the ICC ODI Men’s World Cup 2023.

The two Indian men committed suicide in West Bengal following India’s defeat reports Indian media.

Rahul Lohar, 23, killed himself in Beliatore police station around 11 pm on Sunday. He hung himself in the room, reportedly after getting disheartened from India’s defeat. A case of unnatural death was registered by Police following his post-mortem on Monday.

Another man, a 23-year-old man was found hanging in the terrace of his home after the match.

According to the Police, Dev Ranjan Das, was already undergoing treatment for emotional disorder syndrome. Das left the home in despair after India lost the match, says his family.

On the other hand, wife of Australian batter Travis Head is receiving abusive comments and rape threats on social media after Australia won the ICC ODI Men’s World Cup 2023.

The disgruntled fans did not bar from even issuing rape threats to his wife on social media. Travis Head was instrumental in helping Australia win the ICC World Cup 2023. His magnificent knock of 163 runs cruised Australia to victory following a shaky start. Australia was finally able to beat India with six wickets.

Head was significant in giving a breakthrough to the Australian team when he caught the catch of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who scored 47 runs during the first innings.

The Indian trolls did not even spare his 1-year-old daughter in the comments and threatened to harm her.

Earlier, Indian fans targeted New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham faced online vitriol on Monday.
