Popular TV host and PTI MNA, Aamir Liaquat, believes independent women are the reason for the rise in divorce cases in Pakistan.
On Monday, he took to Twitter and stated the figures of how many cases of ‘Khula’ were filed by women in Pakistan last year. He expressed remorse for the increase in the divorce cases of Pakistan and particularly filed by women.
He wrote, “In one year, 100,000 women approached the courts for khula and more than ten thousand khula degrees were issued!”
When talking about the rise in divorce cases, he accused ‘modern’ women of initiating the dissolution of their marriage. “Willfulness, disobedience, ungratefulness, hearsay, advice from friends and mothers, indifference and the false hopes created by media lead to khula,” he commented, adding, “But this creates an otherworldly vacuum, which is called remorse,” wrote Aamir Liaquat further.

In 2018, Aamir Liaquat tied the knot a second time by marrying Syeda Tuba Aamir. The news was confirmed by Aamir Liaquat Hussain himself on Twitter who posted a candid shot of him with his wife and captioned it “There is a reason why two people stay together. They give each other something nobody else can. We tied the knot.”
The prolific host was already married to Bushra Aamir and has two kids with his wife. The PTI MNA came under fire for his wedding pictures considering he was just recently trolling Deepika Padukone’s wedding pictures and fighting with random people on the Internet.
