Bulgaria approved more military aid to Ukraine

Ukraine will receive portable anti-craft missile systems and surface-to-air missiles from Bulgaria. The military aid was approved on Friday by the Bulgarian parliament. Out of 240 members, 147 voted in favor of aid.
In 2004, Bulgaria, a Warsaw Pact member, joined NATO, but its dependency on and usage of Soviet-designed weapons continued.
Ukraine will also be able to use Bulgarian airspace as permitted by the parliament.

The president of Bulgaria, considered pro-Russian, has repeatedly opposed military aid to Ukraine, implying that this act can incorporate Bulgaria into war.
This was not the first time Bulgaria gave Ukraine military aid; in September, they  provided defective surface-to-air missiles to Ukraine.
