Crying video of Shadab Khan gets mixed reviews

A video of Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan crying after losing to Zimbabwe is making rounds on social media. Shadab Khan is the vice-captain of the team.

He lost his wicket which turned out to be a crucial turning point in the match. Pakistan was in a comfortable position to win the match but lost it after a consecutive downfall of wickets. A video has now emerged of Shadab Khan crying after losing the match. A picture of Babar Azam sitting in disbelief in the dugout also circulated on social media.

Cricket fans hurt by the shocking defeat are criticizing the players. Some voiced support for Shadab Khan following the video while others slammed the cricketer further. Others said that these emotional videos cannot fool the fans anymore when the players are not performing on the field. Such PR content is not helping the team win the matches. Fans argued that Shadab Khan is the vice-captain of the match and consistently playing in the team for the past five years, still he lacks game awareness to remain consistent in batting. Some said that instead of crying Shadab Khan should spend time correcting his mistakes.

Meanwhile, Skipper Babar Azam attributed batting failure to the humiliating defeat against Zimbabwe in the second match of the T20 World Cup 2022.

Zimbabwe defeated Pakistan by 1 one run. Pakistan had to chase the target of 131 runs but fell short. Speaking to the press following the match, Babar Azam said that Zimbabwe outplayed Pakistan in all three formats, and there is no excuse for such defeat.

“We did not bowl well the way we should’ve bowled in first six overs and allowed them to score quick runs, though we made a comeback and did well to restrict them at130,” he said.

“But then, while chasing, our batting collapsed after Shadab’s wicket, and that’s where we lost the game, it was due to the batting line collapse,” the skipper said.
