Former State Department official Stuart Seldowitz was recorded disrespecting the Holy Prophet and harassing a Halal street food vendor in Manhattan yesterday.
The video has gone viral on social media with several users condemning Seldowitz for his untriggered tirade and harassment of the man.
A former State Department official berated him for not learning English and kept calling him ‘ignorant’. He even took pictures of the food street vendor. Meanwhile, the vendor asked him to leave, as he is being heard in the video saying ‘please go’.
The man seemed to belong to Egpyt. When asked to leave, Stuart said he would not leave since he is in a free country, unlike Egpyt.
Talking to the man, he said “The Mukhabarat in Egypt will get your parents. Does your father like his fingernails? They will take them out one by one.”
He then asked the man if he raped his daughter like the holy Prophet Muhammad did. He kept calling Prophet Muhammad a ‘rapist’ and disrespected the holy Quran.
Seldowitz asked the man, “Did you rape your daughter like Mohammed did? Did you rape your daughter like Mohammed?”

The man, however, did not respond to his provocative comments in the video. According to reports, the incident did not happen once as he has been returning to the vendor repeatedly harassing him.
The former official even frowned upon him for being ignorant as he cannot speak English and that is why he is still the food street vendor.
In another video, he was seen harassing a food street vendor. It is not clear if the street vendor is the same in both videos. Harassing the vendor the other day, he called him a terrorist, and supporter of Hamas and even passed insensitive remarks against the killing of children in Gaza.

“If we killed 4,000 Palestinian kids, it wasn’t enough,” Seldowitz was heard in the video. Meanwhile, the vendor kept asking him to leave as he was busy with his work.

The video particularly gained traction due to the presence of Stuart Seldowitz who has served as the U.S. Department Office of Israel and Palestinian Affairs and then served as Acting Director of the National Security Council South Asia Directorate in the Obama administration.

He was named Foreign Affairs Chair at Gotham Government Relations last year. Following the incident, the lobbying firm ended its relations with him. The firm in its statement said, “The video of his actions is vile, racist, and beneath the dignity of the standards we practice at our firm.”
