The spouse of “Hamilton” star Miguel Cervantes disclosed in a heartbreaking tweet Sunday that the couple’s 3-yr-previous daughter, Adelaide Grace, died in her arms following a prolonged illness.
“The equipment are off. Her mattress is empty. The tranquil is deafening,” Kelly Cervantes wrote on Twitter. “Miss Adelaide Grace remaining us early Saturday morning. She went peacefully in my arms and surrounded by enjoy. Ultimately, she is totally free from pain, reactions and seizures but leaves our hearts shattered. We like you so considerably Adelaideybug and eternally immediately after.”

Cervantes wrote an open letter to her daughter past month prior to she went into hospice care in Chicago. “You’ve been combating for your everyday living for so extensive and I can see now that you are tired. It is my turn to be the strongest … and enable you go,” she reported in the letter posted on her blog Inchstones.
Adelaide Grace, who died just days small of her fourth birthday, had a severe type of epilepsy. She suffered her 1st seizure at the age of seven months, and was diagnosed with childish spasms two months afterwards, Folks journal noted.
Miguel Cervantes, who performs the direct role in the Chicago creation of “Hamilton,” posted a sobbing emoji to his wife’s message.
Earlier this month, he posted a photo of the couple’s 7-calendar year-aged son, Jackson, and their daughter generating a mould of their intertwined fingers. The mould is now featured on his Twitter profile.
Both Miguel and Kelly have been operating to elevate awareness and resources to help struggle epilepsy. “We are combating so that no one particular ever has to rely how many seizures happen in a day,” Miguel explained to Chicago’s ABC7-Tv early this thirty day period.
Kelly wrote on her blog: “I want a get rid of for epilepsy. I want the panic that persons have of speaking about it, I want that anxiety to stop. I want my child lady to live, and I don’t get that. So I’m likely to fight like hell for the relaxation of it.”
