Pakistani cricketer Hasan Ali is set to tie the knot with Indian girl Samiya Arzoo in Dubai today. The fast-bowler is set to marry the Indian-based Dubai expat Samiya Arzoo in Atlantis Palm hotel.
Wedding celebrations have been going on for a few days. Hasan Ali’s friends and relatives, including Pakistani cricketer Shadab Khan, have reached Dubai to attend the wedding.
Wedding Celebrations
Nikkah and Mehndi ceremonies were held on Monday, after which images from his pre-wedding shoot circulated on Instagram. Hasan Ali went on around the city with his wife Samiya Arzoo for a photo shoot at various locations in Dubai including Jumeirah BoardWalk, Atlantis, Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab.
Da Artist Photo, a high profile Pakistani wedding photo studio, also shared photos of the couple. “We’re here [in Dubai] to cover Hasan Ali’s Nikkah (wedding),” the photographers wrote on Instagram. They said that the photos were from the couple’s “pre-wedding shoot” in Dubai on Monday.

A video from his Mehndi ceremony circulated on social media in which Shadab Khan is also seen dancing. Before his Mehndi ceremony, Hasan Ali released a picture of him with his friends on social media. Ali wore a green kurta while his friends donned matching orange kurtas for the mehndi ceremony.
Scores of Pakistani cricketers will be missing Hasan Ali’s wedding ceremony in Dubai due to tight training schedules. Rukhsati and Valima events will be held after a few months in Pakistan, he added, and is expected to host the Valima reception in Pakistan a month after his honeymoon.

Sharing the details of his marriage, he said he would be wearing a traditional Sherwani.
Details of the Bride
The report states that Samiya Arzoo works for a private airline and hails from Haryana. She studied engineering from England and lives with her parents in Dubai, with some of the family members in New Delhi, revealed the report. Quoting family sources, it was further said that Hasan first met Samiya through a close friend in Dubai
As soon as the news of his nuptial made waves on social media, Hasan Ali took to Twitter and informed that the wedding date is not confirmed and the families are yet to meet. “Just wanna clarify that my wedding is not confirmed yet. Our families have yet to meet and decide upon it. Will make a public announcement very soon,” he said in a tweet.
As per fresh reports, the pacer has bought a new house for his bride Samiya Arzoo, which is currently being furnished for the star bowler’s wedding ceremony. Talking to a news channel, his brother Atta-ur-Rehman revealed, “We will fly to Dubai on the 17th-18th next month.
Although the girl hails from India, the nikkah ceremony will take place in Dubai. The remaining traditions will be held in Gujranwala, Pakistan.” His brother informed that close friends and family members would attend the nikkah ceremony.

Hasan Ali, however, denied his wedding rumors stating that he is aware of the excitement of his fans for his marriage but he will make the formal announcement in a day or two.
“I am a professional player and I know I have an overwhelming number of fans who are interested in my marriage. I’d like them to know that nothing is confirmed yet.” Adding, “Give me two days and I will make an official announcement as soon as something is finalized.”
Samiya’s father, Liaquat Ali, also said in an interview that many of his relatives live in Pakistan.
Ali said he met the girl a year ago during a dinner in Dubai, and her honesty inspired him. “Afterwards, with the consent of my family, I sent a proposal, which was accepted,” he mentioned.
