Khan talked about his busy schedule with a telephone caller on Monday who asked him how he manages his fitness amid work.

On Monday, Khan answered the problems of the public through direct phone calls, informed the Prime Minister’s Office on Sunday.

This is said to be the first-ever attempt by any premier of the country to directly engage with the public and address their problems through telephone calls.

“Talk directly to Prime Minister Imran Khan on the telephone. Your questions, the prime minister’s answers,” a Twitter post by the Prime Minister’s Office said on Sunday.

People wishing to talk to him and deliver their problems to him may call at 051-9210809. The phone lines will be open from 4 pm. PMO did not inform for how long the session will last. It is also not informed it will be a regular practice.

The move is a part to improve service delivery to the public. PM Imran Khan in his earliest speeches in the parliament had said that he intends to hold a question and answer session which he had named, “Prime Minister’s Question Hour“.

“Twice every month I will answer to the people during the question-answer session in the assembly,” he said at the time.
