Honey Singh talks about exploring Islam

Indian rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh talks about exploring Islam and its teachings through Sufis and scholars. He says he listens to spiritual leaders and Sufis to learn more about the religion.

He said his understanding of faith was improved by discovering Islamic values and learning a lot from them. Singh expressed these views in a recent interview with an Indian journalist. He openly talked about his exploration of the religion.

The Indian singer asserted that he got involved with the dark forces when he gained popularity, and he regrets it.

He said that back in 2007 he moved to Mohali, and was involved in the music industry, but was not known. During his stay in Mohali, he met religious scholars who talked about the religion in such a way that he was curious to explore more about the religion. His curiosity about the religion grew as he sought answers to many questions that were on his mind.

Singh said he attentively listened to the teachings of the Holy Quran, particularly, the Quranic teachings about Propher Jesus. The rapper shared how numerous times he asked questions from the scholars and they patiently answered him.

He said that after receiving fame and wealth in 2012, he strayed from the path of faith and got stuck with dark forces. “That was the biggest mistake of my life,” he confessed.
