Interior Ministry approves VIP security for Maryam Nawaz

The Interior Ministry has directed the respective provinces to provide the security cover to Maryam Nawaz during her movement in other districts.

The Interior Ministry of Pakistan has allowed providing VIP  security to PMLN Vice President Maryam Nawaz.

State security has been provided to Maryam Nawaz on the recommendation of the committee of the Interior Ministry. The security squad will include personnel from Rangers and Police. According to the media reports, security will be provided in all the residences of Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

A threat assessment committee was formed in the Interior Ministry of Pakistan. The committee decided to provide state security to Maryam Nawaz as the Vice President of PMLN. Interior Ministry will provide the Rangers personnel for the security of Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Meanwhile, the regional police will provide her security wherever she moves.

Police officials will be deployed as guards at her residence. Maryam Nawaz will be provided with police and rangers security cover during her stay and movement in the Islamabad Capital Territory. The Interior Ministry has directed the respective provinces to provide the security cover to Maryam Nawaz during her movement in other districts.

Fawad Chaudhry slams Maryam Nawaz

Fawad Chaudhry slammed the government for providing Maryam Nawaz state security when she is out on bail and is convicted by courts. He also raised questions on state television PTV spending a huge amount of money to cover the public rally of Maryam Nawaz in Swabi today. He asked why state television is giving coverage and spending money on the coverage of a convict.

He said “Miss Information will take PTV into deficit in a few months.” He asked: “Will the Islamabad High Court, where her case is pending, notice why state TV is spending so much to deliver speeches of a convicted criminal?”

Maryam Nawaz was earlier spotted inspecting the Prime Minister’s House soon after Shehbaz Sharif took the oath as the prime minister of Pakistan. Earlier, all the residences of PM Shehbaz Sharif had been given the status of PM House. The three residences include the one in Model Town Lahore, the Raiwind residence, and the Central Secretariat.
