JS Bank launches app for digital banking experience

The app, which is available for both Android and iOS users, allows users to access all financial services from funds transfer to international remittances along with all kinds of local and international payments.

One of Pakistan’s fastest-growing banks, JS Bank launched a mobile app ‘Zindigi’ which provides a customizable digital banking experience. Zindigi, powered by JS Bank, got introduced with launch events in 13 different cities across Pakistan.

Zindigi team members and their respective families attended the events across the country. Customers also joined and appreciated the experience provided by the app.

According to details, the app lets a client open a new bank account without visiting a branch. The app, which is available for both Android and iOS users, allows users to access all financial services from funds transfer to international remittances along with all kinds of local and international payments.

In addition, Zindigi showcases industry-first use cases like digital investments in stocks and mutual funds.

Chief Digital Officer & Head of Zindigi, Noman Azhar stated, “While we have many banks in this country, but not many banking experiences”.

He added, “Zindigi is all about customers, we will grow with them, change with them but will always stay true to them. We will listen more and work hard to give them the experiences they expect.”

JS Bank committed to Pakistan’s digitization

This is not the first time JS Bank contributed to Pakistan’s fintech innovation. In November 2021, JS Bank successfully launched its end-to-end digital account opening facility titled JS Blink that allows customers to open a complete checking account by either downloading JS Mobile or by visiting the JS Bank Website. This facility makes JS Bank one of the first few banks to launch this pilot program in compliance with SBP’s digital framework.

JS Blink is a major step in redefining the customer banking journey in Pakistan, paving the way for onboarding millennials and GenZ under the formal banking umbrella using digital tools.

Noman Azhar – Chief Digital Officer, JS Bank stated, “This is an important step towards providing ease and convenience to customers and will drive growth in customer preference towards digital banking by eliminating the need to visit physical branches.”

“At JS Bank, we are continually building on our commitment to improve access to financial services for the public at large in line with the guidance of the State Bank of Pakistan,” he further added.

JS Blink is one of JS Bank’s many fintech products with which the Bank aims to promote financial inclusion. JS Bank strives to promote a digital-first approach in the banking industry to deliver a customer first experience backed by technology and empowered by a tech-driven culture.
