JS Bank earlier paid the Netflix subscription of its customers. The news came as a surprise to the customers since the bank had made no such announcement.
To clarify, Netflix is a popular streaming platform that offers a wide variety of series and movies for its customers. Netflix subscription plan ranges from Rs 250 to Rs 1100.
The news initially broke when #JSBLNetflixSurprise began trending on Twitter. Customers flooded the social media platform by claiming that they received a message from JS Bank stating that it will reverse their Netflix payment. Important to note, only customers holding JS Bank’s platinum debit card received the message.
“This one is on us! We will reverse this month’s Netflix fee debited from your account within three days. Enjoy your free time on Netflix,” the message generated by the bank said.
Reacting to the news, Twitteratis appreciated the bank and expressed excitement. Many even began asking movie suggestions to watch on Netflix!
