JS Bank successfully hands out Rs 5B in loans to youth

In a bid to empower the youth, JS Bank provided value-added financial offerings and services to build entrepreneurial spirit. To date, the bank has successfully managed to distribute Rs 5 billion in loans to young entrepreneurs of Pakistan.

JS Bank, one of Pakistan’s fastest-growing banks, completed distributing Rs 5 billion in loans as part of PM Khan’s Kamyab Jawan Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES).

Reacting to the news, Special Assistant to PM on Youth Affairs Usman Dar congratulated the bank on this massive achievement.

“Under PM Khan’s vision, Kamyab Jawan played an important role in Pakistan’s development and prosperity. Our aim was to better equip the youth,” Usman Dar said on Twitter.

“Regarding this, I would like to congratulate JS Bank for being successful in distributing Rs 50 billion in loans to the country’s youth,” he further added.

PM Khan appreciates JS Bank

Important to note, last month, PM Khan recognized JS Bank as the best private sector bank under the Kamyab Jawan Scheme.

In a bid to empower the youth, JS Bank provided value-added financial offerings and services to build entrepreneurial spirit. Under KJ YES, the bank created over 4000 jobs. The bank did this by distributing more than 1,000 loans with a cumulative value of over Rs 4.5 billion.

PM Khan congratulated JS Bank for its efforts to create livelihoods. He also said that the efforts of the bank are a benchmark for the financial industry.

As a result, Basir Shamsie, president and CEO of JS Bank thanked the PM for his appreciation. Mr. Shamsie further reiterated the bank’s dedication to supporting economic growth.

“Living up to our motto of a responsible corporate entity, we work every day to make a positive grassroots impact on people’s lives by supporting economic growth,” he said on the occasion.

“Under the guidance of the Government of Pakistan and the State Bank of Pakistan, we are continuing our journey towards making a better Pakistan,” he further added.
