Bollywood ace director Karan Johar praises Pakistani director Bilal Lashari, the director of The Legend of Maula Jatt.

Gohar Rasheed playing a lead character in the movie confirmed it in the latest interview. According to the actor, Karan Johar called The Legend of Maula Jatt a milestone for Pakistani cinema and a moment of pride for the nation. Rasheed says appreciation from Johar was a big achievement for the entire team.

Earlier, Karan Johar was spotted watching The Legend of Maula Jatt in a cinema in Dubai. His pictures went viral on social media. The Legend of Maula Jatt has become the blockbuster Pakistani movie of all time.

The film has so far earned more than Rs. 150 crores. It has become the highest-grossing Punjab film of all time worldwide. The film has collected 7.8 million USD at the worldwide box office in four weeks. TLOJ has also been released in France upon huge public demand.

The film features Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Humaima Malik, and Fawad Khan in the lead roles. Legend of Maula Jatt is the first Pakistani movie to have receivedsmashing viewership at the international box office. The film opened to a historic first week in Pakistan as well. The movie was released on October 13th.

The film has collected more than the combined first-day collection of Kumar’s Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra’s Thank God. The post on the official Instagram account of the Legend of Maula Jatt read, “Another day, another achievement! The Legend of Maula Jatt beats the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2022, RRR’s lifetime business in just 17 days in the UK,” read a post. A few days it was reported that the Pakistani movie has beaten the Amir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.
