Karan Johar is back on his directorial venture with a bang! On Ranveer Singh’s birthday, the filmmaker had announced that he will be directing the actor and Alia Bhatt in a romantic comedy which is all about love and family. He further revealed details about his new upcoming direction on Twitter, “Thrilled to get behind the lens with my favorite people in front of it! Presenting Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, headlined by none other than Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan & Sumit Roy.”
Ranveer Singh also took to social media revealing the film’s details and shared “A special announcement on my special day! Presenting – Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani along with my dazzling supernova Alia Bhatt, directed by the genre himself, kaleidoscopic visionary Karan Johar, & written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan & Sumit Roy.”

However, In the last year, Karan Johar has directed two web series on Netlfix – ‘Lust Stories’ and ‘Ghost Stories’. He is also the producer for Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’. The Multi-talented is on his way to launching South sensation Vijay Deverakonda in Starrer ‘Liger’, which includes Ananya Panday as the leading actress.
