Maleeka Bokhari slams PPP’s Ali Haider Gillani for derogatory remarks

Meanwhile, PTI has decided to resign from the National Assembly. The decision was taken during the PTI Parliamentary meeting today ahead of the election for the new prime minister of Pakistan.

PTI’s Maleeka Bokhari retorts to PPP Ali Haider Gillani for passing inappropriate comments on her as she went to receive the nomination papers of Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi had been appointed as the candidate to become prime minister from the opposition against the candidate of Shahbaz Sharif proposed by the coalition government. As per the latest report, PTI has decided to resign from the national assembly.

Ali Haider Gillani shared the picture of the news that read, Maleeka Bokhari came to collect the nomination paper of Shah Mehmood Qureshi. “Look who came to collect nominations papers for SMQ,” said Ali Haider Gillani.

“I came to collect papers for PTI on behalf of Chairman Imran Khan. I promise you, I will drag you to every court of law including cybercrime if you even think of any form of character vilification. I will drag every single member of your family including your mother & sisters too,” said Maleeka Bokhari as she strongly reacted to his inappropriate comment.

In response to a tweet from a Twitter user, she said they will be targeted for defending and standing with Imran Khan. “They will attack every front face defender of @ImranKhanPTI. We are ready to take them to every court of law & institution. All PTI women should have lawyers to take legal action against them. We are, ready!” she said in response to a tweet.

Meanwhile, PTI has decided to resign from the National Assembly. The decision was taken during the PTI Parliamentary meeting today ahead of the election for the new prime minister of Pakistan.

According to details by the media, Imran Khan refused to further engage with the Opposition in the assembly. He said he will resign. To clarify, after being removed from power, Imran Khan is now the leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly. He also said members do not have to resign if they do not wish to.
