Moonis Elahi schools Atta Tarar on respect

Moonis Elahi's casual comment apparently triggered PML-N Attaullah Tarar who lashed out at him for being disrespectful. Moonis Elahi, not holding back, retaliated with an old image of Atta Tarar.

PML-Q leader and former Federal Minister Moonis Elahi, and SAPM Attaullah Tarar have locked horns on social media with the former schooling the latter on respect and manners.

According to the details, PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain during an interview had criticized Moonis Elahi and said he should refrain from making irresponsible statements. Moonis Elahi had earlier given an interview where he made comments on the difference of opinion between Ch. Shujaat and Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi for supporting PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

Reacting to Moonis Elahi’s comments, Ch. Shujaat Hussain said that Moonis Elahi needs to adopt a “responsible attitude” and should “avoid making irresponsible statements”.

Moonis Elahi, while retweeting Chaudhry Shujaat’s interview, commented “Lol” (laughing out loud). Pertinent to mention that there is a divide within PML-Q with Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi throwing their weight behind Imran Khan and Chaudhry Shujaat siding with the PML-N government.

Moonis Elahi’s casual comment apparently triggered PML-N Attaullah Tarar who lashed out at Moonis Elahi for being disrespectful towards his elders.

“One shouldn’t laugh when an uncle gives advice Mr. lol. This spoiled nobleman who charges up to 50 percent as the commission is corrupt as well as rude. There is a share in the purchase of vehicles. Government vehicles are being purchased from his own Toyota Gujarat Motor. More than a hundred vehicles,” Attaullah Tarar said.

Moonis Elahi, not holding back, retaliated with an old image of Atta Tarar where he made a rude hand gesture while standing in the Punjab Assembly.

Attaullah Tarar had come under heavy fire for his uncouth behavior during the budget session of the Punjab Assembly in June. Tarar, then a PML-N provincial minister, was told to leave the Punjab Assembly during Monday’s session chaired by speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. As he was leaving to chants of “go Tarar go”, he turned around and put up his middle finger, gesturing towards the opposition benches, while holding a copy of the Constitution in the other hand.
